MMR's perfect circle Camshaft gears are designed for all Performance / Race 5.0 Coyote applications that no longer use the VCT. The MMR gears replace the factory out of round / oval gears with a Perfectly round, CNC machined Billet, heat treated steel gear.
QTY 2 Gears Included (only required for exhaust cams - these are not used/required on intake cams)
These gears require the use of Phaser lockouts / VCT deletes. They can be added below if you do not yet have them.

Prevents Primary Chain tensioner failure
Decreases Front camshaft journal wear
Smoother and Quieter operation
Increased HP (tensioner no longer acts like a hydraulic brake upon the timing chain)
***This is a heat treated steel part and moisture or human handling prior to install can cause minor surface rust (like a brake rotor), This does not affect performance of the item in ANY way and is no cause for concern.
