The MMR oil cooler kit replaces the entire factory cooler and Oil Filter housing with a lightweight, high efficiency, high quality air/oil cooler with a relocated oil filter. This is far more efficient and safe compared to the cheap sandwich style design which are leak prone and also prone to loosening of the oil filter. This MMR kit drastically reduces oil and coolant temperatures which increases detonation resistance allowing for more boost, more power and ultimately lower oil temps for better reliability and engine life. Great For those Turbo applications or Hot Rods where removal of the factory bracket/cooler gives more clearance for custom headers etc. This as a mandatory upgrade when using for HPDE, Autocross, Road Race, Texas Mile or Modified 5.0 / 5.2 Engines
