PN#467890 Dual Roller Instructions

This kit requires Phaser deletes – PN#451557 (2011-2014) OR  451570 (2015-2017 )

Prior to Installation some clearancing is REQUIRED to prevent the new double wide chain from contacting the cylinder head, Front cam caps (outer corners) and valve covers. If you have MMR billet valve covers, you may skip the valve cover step.

Both cylinder heads must be clearanced on the Front Oil galley Bosses, other wise, the chain WILL touch! We suggest at least .050 clearance. See Picture below:

The Cam caps on both cylinder heads in the outer upper corners must be clearanced, otherwise, the chain WILL touch! We suggest at least .050 clearance between chain and caps. See Picture below:

The Passenger Valve cover will need to be clearanced on the Oil Baffle front lip and the cap filler rib, otherwise, the chain WILL touch! See Picture below:

Install the MMR Billet steel, and MMR Delrin chain guides onto the factory tensioners. You MUST invert the secondary tensioner on the driver side. If you have the MMR tensioner bracket 467893 it is NO LONGER USED with this kit!!!

Assemble the MMR Billet steel sprockets with the Phaser deletes. YOU WILL NEED TO MAKE SURE THAT THE BOLTS DO NOT TOUCH THE CHAINS ON THE BACKSIDE, IF THEY DO YOU MUST FILE/GRIND THEM FLUSH WITH THE SPROCKET!!!! otherwise the chain WILL touch!

Submerge the chain in oil before installation

WARNING: FAILURE TO SUBMERGE CHAINS IN OIL PRIOR TO INSTALLATION MAY RESULT IN ACCELERATED WEAR & FAILURE!

Install the chains onto sprockets using the timing marks -just like normal. This process is the same as factory.
Push the cam gears on just like factory and rotate until the 3 center bolts line up.
Loctite is REQUIRED for ALL bolts!

When installing the passenger side fixed primary guide, be sure to inspect the guide where the secondary chain travels past it (on the top of the guide on the inside edge) some applications may require MINOR clearancing, we like about .040 clearance between the chain and the fixed guide.
