Methanol and E-85 Compatible (guides will not soften and fail like the factory plastic) Kit includes parts to complete 1 engine. This kit ALSO inverts the driver side secondary tensioner (just like mmr part#467893) to correct it from tensioning the chain on the wrong side.

*Timing Chains are a wearable item. They should be replaced EVERY racing season. See PN#467833 for replacement chains. To prevent the plastic guide from failing it has been replaced with a metal guide. This creates a metal on metal contact which will result in wear of both the chain and guide. This item can show heat discoloration and wear pattern after initial break-in due to metal on metal friction and is no cause for concern. This is a heat treated steel part and moisture or human handling can cause minor surface rust (like a brake rotor), This does not affect performance of the item in ANY way and is no cause for concern. CHAINS MUST BE SUBMERGED IN OIL PRIOR TO INSTALLATION. FAILURE TO DO SO MAY RESULT IN ACCELERATED WEAR & FAILURE!
